[Remote] Social Media Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HeartStamp Inc. is an AI-powered greeting card and invitation platform reinventing how people send heartfelt moments. They are seeking a hands-on social operator to manage organic social media across various channels, collaborate on content creation, and engage with the community to drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Organic social across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Threads, and X. You create, schedule, publish, and engage daily
- Content creation using our own platform: you'll use HeartStamp to design cards and invitations as social content, showcasing the product in the wild. We will give you support with Graphic designers, AI video producers and video editors
- Collaboration with our contracted graphic designer and creative lead on ideation and production of carousels, short-form video, and feed posts
- UGC creator and AI video producer outreach: identify, recruit, brief, negotiate, and manage micro-influencers, UGC creators, and AI video talent. Track deliverables and ROI. Build and maintain the creator database
- Pinterest strategy: pin creation, board strategy, seasonal content planning. Critical discovery channel for our audience
- Content pillar ideation: define and evolve the editorial framework that holds our feeds together
- Commenting and follow strategy: drive community growth through proactive engagement, not just posting and ghosting
- Community management: represent HeartStamp authentically on Reddit, forums, and niche communities. Monitor mentions and sentiment. We will bring on community support later this summer
- Scheduling and publishing across platforms using tools like Iconosquare, Sprout Social, Later, or equivalents
- Weekly organic performance reports: what's working, what's not, what we're changing next week
- Creator analytics and management through Insight IQ and similar tools
- Tight collaboration with our paid advertising specialist so organic and paid amplify each other
Skills
- 3 to 6 years hands-on social media execution (not just strategy, you've pressed publish thousands of times)
- Strong copywriting: ad headlines, captions, video scripts, push notifications. Fast, punchy, on-brand
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and CapCut Pro
- Working knowledge of AI creative tools: GPT Image, Nano Banana (Gemini 3 Image), and a willingness to experiment with whatever ships next month
- Experience with social management and analytics platforms (Metricool, Sprout Social, Later, Buffer, native platform dashboards)
- Creator and influencer management chops with a track record of measurable ROI
- Pinterest fluency: you understand it as a discovery engine, not 'another social channel'
- Self-starter who ships fast, iterates on data, and doesn't wait for perfection
- Portfolio of past campaigns with real KPIs, not just pretty screenshots
- Experience with Eleven Labs (AI voice) and Seedance (AI video) or similar generative video tools
- Startup or early-stage experience where you built social from scratch
- D2C, ecommerce, gifting, stationery, or occasion-driven commerce background
- Experience marketing to millennial moms or the gifting audience
- AI tools fluency beyond the basics
