[Remote] Commercial Account Executive

Sovos Latinoamérica is a global leader in tax compliance solutions, dedicated to transforming how businesses navigate regulatory challenges. As a Commercial Account Executive, you will drive growth by managing the full sales cycle, building relationships with clients, and promoting SaaS solutions to new accounts.
Responsibilities
- Prospect within your assigned territory to generate leads and grow pipeline opportunities
- Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts, clearly articulating the value propositions of Sovos' products and services
- Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans that drive quota attainment
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles from initial qualification (BFRC) to close
- Lead contract negotiations and maintain accurate records in sales force automation tools
- Leverage resources effectively throughout the sales cycle on strategic deals
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to share ideas and develop new business strategies
- Utilize multiple communication methods to engage prospects and clients effectively
- Demonstrate strong time management, prioritization, and territory planning skills
- Ask insightful questions to understand client needs and uncover opportunities
- Act as a role model and mentor across the organization, sharing best practices and effective messaging
- Maintain a continuous learning mindset—actively participating in trainings, webinars, and seeking insights from Support and other teams
- Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all interactions with stakeholders
- Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfaction
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in a BDR, quota-carrying sales role, or similar position; software solution sales preferred
- Ability to navigate and manage end-to-end sales cycles
- Knowledge of contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.com
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead team meetings
- Effective time management and territory planning abilities
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn from colleagues, internal partners, and client experiences
- Ability to comprehend and communicate complex concepts
- Minimal travel required (less than 25%) both domestic and international to Sovos locations and events
- Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
