[Remote] Strategic Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sovos Latinoamérica is a global provider of tax compliance solutions, dedicated to transforming tax compliance into a growth opportunity for businesses. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will sell cloud tax software solutions to multinational organizations, manage sales cycles, and build relationships with C-Suite executives to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities while managing internal resources and running full sales cycles from initial contact through close, upsell, and cross-sell
- Develop and execute an account-based commercial strategy to grow sales opportunities and retain customers
- Build and nurture executive and C-Suite relationships with clients
- Deliver profitable new business revenue growth in your assigned territory while meeting and exceeding revenue targets and quotas
- Grow and manage a balanced pipeline, driving consistent new business revenue across your territory
- Build a year-over-year track record of consistent performance using multiple sales approaches and managing complex enterprise sales cycles
- Leverage AI tools to sharpen prospecting, accelerate pipeline analysis, and surface insights that drive faster, smarter sales decisions
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the tax compliance industry and the evolving competitive landscape
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to support leadership's strategic decision-making
Skills
- 10+ years of proven success selling SaaS-based or software solutions to large multinational organizations, with demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles
- Proven targeting, prospecting, and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas
- Ability to present and engage confidently at the C-Suite level
- Highly analytical approach to defining client outcomes and articulating value — you use facts and data to tell a story that leads to sales
- Proven ability to create energy and alignment in a highly matrixed team environment
- Comfortable using AI-powered tools to enhance forecasting, account research, and customer engagement
- Ability to travel for client and prospect meetings, trade shows, and sales team events
- Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
