[Remote] Assistant Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Southern Benefit Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Account Manager to support their Benefits Administration team. This role focuses on account support, benefits processing, customer service, and data management.
Responsibilities
- Benefits Administration: Manage carrier portals for enrollments and terminations; assist with eligibility updates and qualifying life events
- Quotes & Renewals: Support data collection and spreadsheet preparation for new business quotes and renewals
- Payroll System Support: Review and update client payroll systems to ensure accurate benefit data
- Invoice Reconciliation: Reconcile carrier invoices on a regular schedule and resolve discrepancies
- Benefit Plan Management: Assist with plan builds and renewals in Employee Navigator
- Benefit Communications: Create and maintain employee benefit guides using EB3
- Employee Data Tracking: Track new hires, terminations, and beneficiary information to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Service & Issue Resolution: Help resolve employee and client issues related to ID cards, eligibility, and system access
- Compliance Support: Maintain and update required notices and documentation
- Customer Service: Provide prompt, professional support to clients and team members
- Additional Support: Assist with special projects and other duties as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
- Customer-focused mindset
- Experience with Employee Navigator or similar systems preferred
- Background in benefits administration, HR, or account management
- Familiarity with EB3 or similar benefits tools
