Sales Development Representative - New York City
HERE is a technology company that has developed a browser specifically designed for enterprise environments. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive lead generation efforts and establish rapport with clients, focusing on researching and developing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- In the first 60 days, you can expect to: Spend extensive time with all areas of the business to increase your knowledge of HERE’s technology, client base and target markets
- Gain a strong understanding of how to use an AI-centric GTM technology stack to scale outbound efforts
- Research and develop new business opportunities for our Sales Directors
- Begin booking both inbound & outbound meetings for our Sales Directors in New York, London & Hong Kong (and start earning commission!)
- Within the first 6 months, you will be responsible for: Working your own pipeline and proving your ability to book meetings with our key target accounts
- Gaining a solid understanding of your target market & how to best approach different personas
- Establish, build & maintain relationships and rapport with your prospects
- Demonstrate your ability to effectively communicate your understanding of HERE in a role play scenario
- By Your 1 Year Anniversary, You Will Have Accomplished Hitting your given targets consistently
- An in-depth understanding of HERE’s product & positioning, demonstrated in both role play practices & on the phone to clients
- Becoming a meaningful contributor to the overall success of the sales team & culture
- Efficiently managing your own successful pipeline
Skills
- 1-2 years sales development experience working in the Finance industry (strongly preferred)
- Experience working for a SaaS company with Enterprise products required
- A resilient personality with the ability to be self driven and remain adaptable to changes in the market while remaining goal oriented
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with the ability to confidently collaborate with senior individuals (internal and external facing)
- Excellent organizational skills, with a diligent work ethic, with a very strong attention to detail in all areas of work
- The ability to persevere and be adaptable to change will be crucial for success in this role
