Billing Administrator
Daniels Health is a large international business recognized in the healthcare space, seeking a billing administrator to enhance customer experience in billing. The role involves monitoring customer inquiries, providing timely service, and collaborating with various departments to resolve billing questions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Customer Phone Call Queue, including answering and addressing all customer questions and/or complaints associated with invoicing
- Create Salesforce Work tickets and forward to applicable departments if unable to address Customer questions
- Provide timely customer service to customers via phone and email
- Collaborate with collections, sales, and plants to research and resolve customer billing questions
- Gathering and summarizing supplemental billing information to accommodate customer billing requirements
- Setting performance standards and ensuring that the appropriate coverage is in place to meet or exceed service goals
- Align Billing practices with interdepartmental teams EG: Accounts Receivable
Skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Highly organized with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Sharp eye for detail
- Proficient data entry skills; high number of words per minute
- Ability to use numerous software's at any given point
- Easy to adopt change
- Degree in Accounting, or related field is preferred, equivalent work experience considered
