[Remote] Web Growth & SEO Manager(Contractor role)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Meitu Inc. is seeking a Web Growth & SEO Manager to lead organic traffic acquisition and user activation for their web-based products. The role focuses on optimizing conversion funnels through a combination of SEO expertise and product-led growth strategies, ensuring a seamless user experience from search query to product engagement.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Product Managers and UI/UX designers to design intuitive, frictionless landing page funnels
- Champion "instant value" mechanics (e.g., zero-login online interactive demos for tools like object removal or AI filters) to activate users within their first 5 seconds on the page
- Own web analytics telemetry using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Mixpanel, or Hotjar
- Track the end-to-end user journey from Organic Search Impression --> Landing Page Visit --> Feature Trial --> Account Registration/App Download
- Continuously run A/B tests to diagnose and fix conversion drop-offs
- Architect distinct search-to-product experiences based on user search intent
- Lead end-to-end global SEO strategies, including programmatic keyword research, competitive landscape analysis, and topic clustering using tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush
- Align content architecture directly with actual user pain points and search behavior
- Conduct rigorous technical SEO audits
- Drive cross-functional engineering initiatives to optimize site architecture, mobile responsiveness, XML sitemaps, structured data (Schema.org), and page loading speeds (Core Web Vitals) to maximize crawl budgets
- Act as a traffic aggregator by collaborating with Performance Marketing (UA) and Influencer Marketing teams
- Instantly align web landing pages with active social media trends or viral TikTok filters, ensuring that external hype is efficiently captured and converted on the web
Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, Growth Marketing, or Product Growth, with a proven portfolio of scaling organic traffic and revenue for To-C or To-B (SMB) Web SaaS/Apps
- Strong understanding of PLG frameworks, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and user psychology
- Expert-level mastery of data analytics suites (GA4, Google Search Console, Tag Manager) and behavior tracking tools
- A strong eye for visual quality and digital trends
- Technical comfort to read HTML/CSS, understand web rendering paths, and translate complex technical requirements into business impact
- Excellent cross-functional coordination skills to act as the 'translator' between creative copywriters, data analysts, product managers, and software engineers
- Fluency in either English or Portuguese is required as a working language
- Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a massive plus and will be considered a significant competitive advantage for cross-border alignment
