[Remote] Project Finance Associate Attorney (Energy)

The role involves advising on complex project finance transactions in the renewable energy sector and collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Support the structuring and execution of project finance transactions across energy and infrastructure assets (including renewable energy projects)
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transaction documents, including credit agreements, security agreements, intercreditor arrangements, PPAs, and EPC contracts
- Assist with due diligence and manage workstreams across complex transactions
- Collaborate with clients, lenders, sponsors, and internal deal teams from initial structuring through close
- Advise on regulatory, permitting, and compliance considerations impacting energy projects
Skills
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admitted to practice (or ability to waive in)
- 2+ years of experience in project finance, banking/finance, or energy transactions
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Exposure to renewable energy or infrastructure work strongly preferred
