[Remote] Account Manager, Curio Science
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vaniam Group is a people-first, purpose-driven independent network of healthcare and scientific communications agencies. As an Account Manager for Curio Science, you will oversee operations for non-CME scientific and clinical exchange programs, manage project timelines, and serve as the main contact for clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project timelines, with input from internal team members
- Track progress of activity against established timelines
- Provide mentorship to account management team
- Execute program plan based on working budget and manage against funding obtained
- Initiate, execute, and measure effectiveness of audience generation
- Provide onsite project management
- Serve as the project point of contact for internal teams (Scientific Communications, Creative, Client Services, Finance, etc.), clients, and healthcare providers
- Conduct regular project status meetings with internal core team and clients as necessary
- Maintain contact with healthcare providers throughout the course of the meeting
- Prepare, schedule, and conduct virtual trainings for expert advisors
- May contribute to mentoring and training of more junior staff and to department-wide trainings
- Partner with fellow account managers and cross-functional teams to support Vaniam Group business development initiatives
- Create scope of work for new subscriptions
- Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of work experience in a medical education company, healthcare communications agency, the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
- Technical expertise to include Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and other internal communication and project planning tools
- Understanding of Curio Science offerings and ability to describe them to current and potential clients, faculty, and healthcare provider attendees
- Awareness of relevant legal/regulatory requirements governing pharmaceutical industry activities
- Strong customer service focus; history of looking for the above and beyond solutions
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a dynamic, virtual environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels within the organization, healthcare providers, and clients at all times
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to provide clear direction and set expectations
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize/plan work activities and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to manage and prioritize personal and/or team workload
- Results-oriented with a commitment to accountability
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to obtain results
- Ensure the highest standards of quality control of client materials and, as appropriate, develop best practices protocols for project teams to facilitate such quality control
- Ability to travel within the US and internationally as necessary, based on project, client, and organizational needs (35% travel expected)
