[Remote] Travel MEP Project Manager

Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking an experienced Traveling MEP Project Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes of large-scale projects across the United States. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and overall MEP coordination from preconstruction through project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Manage all MEP aspects of construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection subcontractors
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall performance
• Lead MEP coordination meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals
• Identify and resolve design and field coordination issues
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project requirements
• Support commissioning, startup, testing, and turnover activities
• Track project costs, change orders, and procurement schedules
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and clients

Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an MEP Project Manager, Project Manager, or similar role
• Experience managing MEP scopes on commercial, industrial, mission critical, healthcare, manufacturing, or data center projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor management
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Willingness to travel nationwide
• Data Center or Mission Critical project experience
• Experience with commissioning and turnover processes
