[Remote] Senior QA Analyst – DHS Eligibility Systems (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VistalTech Inc is seeking experienced Senior QA Analysts to support a large-scale Arkansas State DHS Eligibility Systems project. The role involves testing government eligibility systems for programs like SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid, and requires strong experience in Quality Assurance and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test cases
• Validate eligibility workflows for SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid programs
• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and state stakeholders
• Support UAT activities and production validation

Skills

• Minimum 8+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience
• Strong experience testing DHS/HHS Eligibility Systems
• Direct experience with one or more of the following programs: SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), Medicaid, Child Welfare or other State Human Services programs
• Experience creating and executing: Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Regression Testing, Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, etc.)
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Previous experience working on State Government or DHS modernization projects
• Experience with eligibility determination systems and benefits processing workflows
• Knowledge of federal and state compliance requirements related to public assistance programs
