[Remote] Sales Business Development Manager

Evergreen Talent Partners is a growing HVAC Controls & Building Automation Solutions Provider, seeking a Business Development Manager to lead sales efforts in the expanding building automation market. The role involves driving new business opportunities, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and managing the full sales cycle for HVAC controls and BAS solutions.
Responsibilities
- Driving new business opportunities for HVAC controls, BAS, and smart building solutions
- Developing relationships with building owners, facility managers, contractors, consulting engineers, and end users
- Identifying retrofit, upgrade, service, and new construction opportunities
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
- Collaborating with engineering, operations, and project teams to develop technical solutions for customers
- Expanding market presence through networking, industry events, and strategic partnerships
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities across assigned territories
Skills
- 5+ years of experience selling HVAC controls, BAS, building automation, energy management, or related technical solutions
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and building operations
- Experience selling to building owners, facility managers, contractors, consultants, or engineering firms
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and consistently exceed sales targets
- Self-motivated professional who thrives in a remote, performance-driven environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
