[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Solventum is a new healthcare company focused on improving lives through innovative solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with diverse teams to develop and enhance medical coding software and data pipelines, while also preparing machine learning models for medical code prediction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with team members, product owners and other stakeholders to build world class medical coding software
• Implementing business requirements to enhance a cloud hosted medical coding data pipeline
• Working with data scientists to prepare and test machine learning models for medical code prediction and assess medical chart readiness
• Working with stakeholders to debug, develop and improve the data pipeline

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or higher AND Three (3) years of software development experience, preferably using the Java programming language
• High School Diploma/GED from AND Five (5) years of software development experience, preferably using the Java and/or Python programming languages
• 1 year of experience developing cloud-hosted applications, preferably in AWS
• 1 year of software development experience using the Python programming language
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related from an accredited institution
• Experience with medical coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, etc
• Experience with data science development using tools such as Pandas, MLFlow or PyTorch
