[Remote] Power Platform Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Power Platform Software Engineer to join their team. The role involves using software development technologies to build and maintain product modules while providing technical leadership and interacting with customers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Uses software development technologies and tools to build, test, and maintain product modules, components, and subsystems
- May require interaction with customers, vendors, and external development partners
- Participates in large system and subsystem planning
- Research and integrates design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities
- Develops technical designs and specifications for complex software solutions for customers
- Provides technical leadership to lower-level developers
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business
- 5+ years of relevant professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Dataverse integration
- Proficiency in Data Modeling, Creation, and Administration of Dataverse databases
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain up to a secret level clearance
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Experience supporting Department of the Air Force customers
- Experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies
- Experience with DataBricks
- Experience with extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools and techniques
- Experience with Python programming language
- Experience working in an Agile team
