Dice is seeking an Information Technology Senior Consultant to design, code, and modify software, ensuring high-performance algorithms and application integration. The role involves analyzing work processes, developing technical solutions, and writing technical documentation while assisting in software testing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and modify software to add features, implement high-performance algorithms, and integrate applications into diverse operating environments
- Design and implement complex data interfaces and execute queries for existing or proposed repositories to ensure data accessibility and system functionality
- Analyze work processes and system performance to develop technical solutions and provide recommendations for improving development standards
- Write and review technical documentation while assisting in the development and execution of comprehensive software test procedures
Skills
- Active TS/SCI W/ Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
- Design, code, and modify software to add features, implement high-performance algorithms, and integrate applications into diverse operating environments
- Design and implement complex data interfaces and execute queries for existing or proposed repositories to ensure data accessibility and system functionality
- Analyze work processes and system performance to develop technical solutions and provide recommendations for improving development standards
- Write and review technical documentation while assisting in the development and execution of comprehensive software test procedures
- Understanding of VMware vSphere vCenter, vSphere API and related services
- Understanding of Amazon AWS EC2, EC2 API and related services
- Understanding of advanced Kubernetes performance tuning and troubleshooting for services
- DevOps skills in Go, Ansible and Terraform (IaC)
- Hands-on experience with Sidero Labs Talos-based Kubernetes platform
- Associates degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience or bachelor's degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience
- High school diploma with twenty (20) years of relevant experience
