The Head of Sales role focuses on converting provided leads into revenue by managing a structured sales process and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline without the need for prospecting.
Responsibilities
- Closing inbound and pre-qualified founder leads — no prospecting required
- Managing and maintaining a clean, accurate pipeline in Pipedrive at all times
- Following up relentlessly with prospects through every stage of the funnel
- Accurately forecasting weekly and monthly revenue to the CEO
- Identifying objection patterns and feeding them back to leadership to sharpen positioning
- Hitting monthly close targets without exception
Skills
- 4+ years in a B2B closing role — SDR and BDR experience does not qualify
- Expert-level Pipedrive user — you live in your CRM, not your inbox
- Deep understanding of capital raising — you must speak fluently with founders who are actively fundraising, understand their pain, and position our platform as the solution
- Familiarity with funding rounds, SAFEs, equity, investor mandates, and the fundraising process from a founder's perspective
- Disciplined follow-up — most deals are lost in the follow-through, not the pitch
- High EQ — you're talking to founders under real financial pressure; trust is everything
- Prior experience in fintech, venture, or capital markets
- Sold to startup founders at the seed to Series B stage
- Background in investment banking, private equity, or fundraising advisory
