Sales Quoting Specialist
Applied Systems is transforming the insurance industry by building a team that is innovative and values collaboration. They are seeking a Sales Quoting Specialist to partner with Sales, generate proposals, and manage the contract lifecycle, while also supporting internal teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Work with Sales to understand the client's needs and what product SKUs are appropriate
- Generate and edit Sales Proposals for Sales Consultants
- Guide proposals through appropriate order processing steps
- Enter and maintain accurate data within Salesforce and CPQ
- Step in on other activities as needed to enable Applied's sellers and customers
Skills
- 1–3 years of contract administration or sales support experience
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel and Word)
- Experience using Salesforce and/or Salesforce CPQ
- Strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working proactively across competing priorities and timelines
- Service-oriented mindset with a bias toward action — ready to step in wherever needed to support Sales, even outside your defined scope
- Comfortable using AI tools to work more efficiently, or eager to learn
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
