Full Stack Engineer - Associate

iCapital is seeking an Associate Full Stack Engineer with an initial emphasis on frontend development to join the Post-Investments Technology team. This role involves collaborating with multiple Engineering teams to build and evolve a TypeScript-based microservice frontend while contributing across the stack over time.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript, with a strong focus on usability, performance, and upkeep
• Collaborate with multiple Backend teams working in Scala and Ruby on Rails to integrate frontend services with distributed microservice architectures
• Contribute to API design and backend development as needed to support end-to-end feature delivery
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices
• Support and enhance critical, client-facing platforms and workflows

Skills

• Experience as a full stack engineer, with stronger depth on the frontend
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks
• Working knowledge of backend technologies such as Scala or Ruby on Rails
• Experience working in a microservices-based architecture
• Able to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
• Experience supporting complex, high-scale, client-facing applications
• Familiar with document-heavy or workflow-driven user interfaces
• Willingness to grow deeper into backend ownership over time
