Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.<p style="text-align:inherit"><span><span> </span></span></p><p></p><p>We are seeking a <b>Strategic Program Manager (SPM) </b>to manage customer-specific programs and ensure the successful implementation and execution of key initiatives.</p><p></p><p>This role will focus on collaborate with Sales Team and Product Management Team to create and execute sales enablement programs, analyze performance and identify improvement opportunities.</p><p></p><p>If you’re driven to build trusted customer partnerships that create value and drive sustainable growth —we want to meet you.</p><p></p><p><b>What can you expect to do?</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Performance Delivery:</b> Consistently deliver on monthly and quarterly sales and inventory metrics.</p></li><li><p><b>Brand Representation:</b> Represent and communicate Velocity's culture, values, and value proposition.</p></li><li><p><b>Customer Solutions:</b> Provide immediate and reliable solutions to customer needs.</p></li><li><p><b>Data & Documentation:</b> Maintain detailed records of all sales data, including contracts, quotations, rebates, and customer interactions, while annotating all customer touches in Velocity's ERP system.</p></li><li><p><b>Contract & VMI Management:</b> Ensure strict program management of all VMI customer contracts utilizing Velocity's ERP system, when required.</p></li><li><p><b>Order Oversight:</b> Oversee open order reports daily to ensure on-time deliveries.</p></li><li><p><b>Inventory Management:</b> Maintain appropriate and agreed inventory levels and manage aged inventory.</p></li><li><p><b>Escalation Management:</b> Manage customer escalations and involve Velocity personnel as required.</p></li><li><p><b>Shortage Resolution:</b> Identify and close shortage requirements.</p></li><li><p><b>Supplier Relationships:</b> Build and maintain relationships with specific suppliers.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>What is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role?</b></p><ul><li><p>4-year college degree in a sales related field.</p></li><li><p>5-8+ years sales experience and/or sales program management</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, account management, CRM.</p></li><li><p>Substantial product knowledge.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>The pay range for this role is $98.200 - $176.800. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
