Company: Mercer Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Specialist to support our H&B team at Mercer by ensuring adherence to contracting policies and regulatory requirements throughout the contract lifecycle. This role involves managing contract compliance, assisting consultants with contracting processes, and collaborating with legal and internal stakeholders to maintain contract integrity and approval standards. We will count on you to: Respond promptly to consultant requests and provide accurate data and contract-related compliance information. Assist consultants with questions regarding the contracting process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures. Prepare contracts in ContractHub for Health & Benefits (H&B), verifying that all necessary approvals and compliance requirements are met. Submit client-requested contract redlines through MPower to CCR for legal review and compliance support. Manage assigned contracts through the entire contracting process from drafting to execution, including regular follow-ups, updating tracking spreadsheets, and researching executed agreements in WebCAS to ensure compliance. Facilitate contract signature processes via DocuSign upon consultant request, ensuring compliance with signature protocols. Assist consultants with inquiries about existing Statements of Work (SOWs) to determine if new contracts or amendments are required based on compliance considerations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on maintaining and developing contract templates within ContractHub, including testing in the UAT environment to ensure compliance standards are upheld. What you need to have: Familiarity with WebCAS. Strong project management skills with the ability to track multiple contracts and compliance deadlines effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with consultants, legal teams, and compliance stakeholders. Proficiency with electronic signature platforms, such as DocuSign, ensuring compliance with signature requirements. High attention to detail and ability to ensure adherence to approval processes and contractual compliance standards. What makes you stand out: Familiarity with Smartsheet Experience with contract compliance, preparation, and management, preferably within consulting or professional services environments. Knowledge of Health & Benefits (H&B) contracts or related consulting services compliance. Experience with MPower and CCR legal and compliance support processes. Ability to contribute to contract template development and compliance testing in UAT environments. Prior experience in a compliance or client-facing role supporting consulting teams. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
