Job Title: EHS Intern Location: Irvine, CA About the role: This role will participate, as directed, in Environmental, Health & Safety projects as a member of a consulting project team, design, development, implementation, and delivery of a wide variety of EHS solutions as a technical contributor. In this role you will be supporting various consulting projects. Projects are variable and challenging. Responsibilities: Health and safety code compliance Developing and delivering EHS/Occupational Health and Safety programs and training EHS assessments/general program compliance audits Regulatory compliance Occupational safety surveys/inspections Environmental issues (air, wastewater, hazardous waste) ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems program development Industrial hygiene (IAQ, investigations, sampling, monitoring, assessments) Desire and interest to work in construction safety Compiling data and providing input to client reports and programs To be successful in the role, you will have: Working towards undergraduate degree preferably in a science or engineering related field or equivalent professional experience. The salary for this position can range from $20-$25 hourly; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
