Social Media Video Editor -Freelance
Location: Remote - Anywhere in LATAM Job Type: Freelance Compensation: USD About the Role: We are looking for a Freelance Social Media Editor to create and edit short-form video content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts for GBS Group and LLC Hub. The role focuses on producing engaging, high-quality short-form videos from different types of existing content, ensuring strong storytelling, platform optimization, and alignment with the brand’s professional and educational tone. Key Responsibilities: Edit and create short-form video content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts). Adapt existing video materials into engaging, platform-optimized short videos. Select impactful moments, structure content effectively, and ensure strong hooks and pacing. Apply captions, transitions, text overlays, motion graphics, and visual elements aligned with brand guidelines. Optimize videos for each platform’s format, performance, and best practices. Ensure consistency in style, tone, and visual identity across all platforms. Collaborate with the Marketing team on content needs, priorities, and timelines. Deliver edited videos on time, incorporating feedback and revisions when needed. Deliver approximately 15 short-form videos per month. Requirements: Proven experience editing short-form social media videos for professional or educational brands. Experience with content related to business, finance, taxes, investments, accounting, or professional services. Strong skills in video editing softwares Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts). Excellent attention to detail and strong sense of visual storytelling. Ability to manage multiple deliverables and tight deadlines. Advanced level of Spanish and English is essential to ensure seamless editing across languages.
