Position Overview

The Customer Technology Consultant at arenaflex is the pivotal bridge between our customers’ business objectives and the technology platforms that enable them. You will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of customer‑focused IT programs, from initial requirement gathering through design, implementation, production support, and continuous improvement. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, project leadership, and exceptional interpersonal skills to ensure seamless collaboration across internal IT teams, external partners, and the customers themselves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multiple customer programs, projects, and support activities across a diverse portfolio of supply‑chain applications and interfaces.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external customers, and cross‑functional partners to drive alignment and mutual success.
  • Provide strategic direction and day‑to‑day guidance to both onsite and remote IT teams operating within a matrixed organization.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all phases of software development, production support, and systematic reporting, including:
    • Planning and analysis of application enhancements.
    • Design and delivery of reports, dashboards, and tools for internal operations and external customers.
  • Monitor production support processes, identify defects, and coordinate resolution to maintain transactional integrity and meet service‑level agreements.
  • Oversee systematic reporting tools related to billing claims, ensuring accurate submission, defect remediation, and re‑submission as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive action‑item logs and IT metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the subject‑matter expert on system capabilities, interfaces, and customer touch points, collaborating closely with business owners.
  • Facilitate user‑focused workshops and meetings to capture requirements, promote cooperation, and enhance satisfaction.
  • Analyze and synthesize data to produce statistical and analytical reports, supporting production and quality audit tracking.
  • Schedule and lead weekly (or as‑required) IT status meetings, presenting updates on issues, risks, and program milestones.
  • Contribute actively to strategic planning activities that shape the future direction of customer technology programs.

  • Stay current on emerging supply‑chain technologies, industry trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in IT program management, customer technology consulting, or a similar role within a logistics or supply‑chain environment.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced, dynamic settings as an outgoing, action‑oriented self‑starter.
  • Strong command of arenaflex applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Working knowledge of supply‑chain middleware, client‑server applications, and version‑control tools (e.g., arenaflex, arenaflex).
  • Deep business understanding of core supply‑chain modules—Order Management, Inventory, Manufacturing Execution, and Warehouse Management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience with structured processes, IT service‑management frameworks, and quality‑control methodologies.
  • Technical expertise in device lifecycle support, including new product introduction, testing/diagnostics, and software/BIOS installation.
  • Extensive systems‑integration experience with transactional interfaces and data exchange protocols.
  • Familiarity with reporting platforms such as arenaflex, arenaflex, and arenaflex is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of SSAE‑16/SSAE‑18 SOC and IT General Controls frameworks.
  • Knowledge of enterprise hardware platforms—arenaflex, arenaflex, and arenaflex relational databases—is desired.
  • Experience with arenaflex (formerly Manhattan WMS) is preferred.
