[Remote] Flight Business Development Lead– Americas

PKFARE is a leading global travel product aggregator and distribution platform, and they are seeking a highly motivated Flight Business Development Manager to drive their flight distribution business across key markets in the Americas. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing partnerships, and developing strategies to expand PKFARE's market presence.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with OTAs, travel agencies, consolidators, TMCs, and enterprise travel buyers across key Americas markets
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships to expand PKFARE's flight distribution network
- Drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth through proactive business development activities
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, client engagement, commercial negotiations, contract execution, and account development
- Develop long-term relationships with strategic partners and key decision-makers
- Collaborate closely with airline sourcing, product, operations, and customer success teams to ensure successful onboarding and customer retention
- Monitor market trends, competitive developments, airline distribution dynamics, and customer needs
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies to increase PKFARE's market presence in the Americas
- Provide regular market intelligence and business insights to support strategic decision-making
- Represent PKFARE at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings
- Strengthen PKFARE's visibility and reputation within the Americas travel ecosystem
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, partnership management, or account management within the travel industry
- Proven experience working with airlines, OTAs, travel agencies, TMCs, travel technology companies, GDS providers, or airline consolidators
- Strong understanding of airline distribution and travel technology
- Familiarity with GDS, NDC, airline fare distribution, OTA business models, and B2B travel sales
- Fluent English is required
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements, and close deals
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Strong ownership mentality and entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to travel within the Americas as required
- Professional proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred
- Portuguese language skills are a plus
- Candidates from travel technology companies, OTAs, airline distribution platforms, GDS providers, airlines, or major travel agencies will be highly preferred
- Experience managing business relationships in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, or other key Americas markets will be considered a strong advantage
