[Remote] Account Manager – Performance Additives (Coatings Industry)

They are seeking a technically-minded Account Manager to cover the Northeast region, focusing on building long-term partnerships in the coatings industry.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary bridge between our product innovations and the customer’s formulation needs
- Maintain and grow relationships with key manufacturers within the coatings space
- Troubleshoot formulation challenges for clients by recommending the appropriate specialty additives from our range
- Use your technical background to identify industry trends and help our R&D team develop products that solve 'real-world' coatings problems
- Transition your technical expertise into a commercial strategy, managing pricing, contracts, and territory growth
Skills
- Deep-rooted background in the Paint or Coatings industry
- 5+ years in Technical Sales
- Understanding of how additives affect performance, stability, and application
- Problem-solver who enjoys explaining technical solutions
- Ready to transition into a role focused on building long-term industry partnerships
- A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related Material Science is a plus
