[Remote] Staff Product Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kastel Group is a venture-backed AI infrastructure company focused on revolutionizing accounting operations at scale. They are seeking a Staff Product Engineer with deep NetSuite expertise to lead and expand a critical ERP integration layer, where the engineer will own the NetSuite ecosystem end-to-end, including architecture and customer-specific customizations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build deep NetSuite integrations across enterprise customer environments
• Develop and maintain reliable sync logic, reconciliation workflows, and data mappings
• Work directly with SuiteTalk APIs (REST/SOAP), SuiteQL, and SuiteScript
• Handle customer onboarding workflows including authentication, permissions, and troubleshooting
• Design systems capable of supporting highly customized NetSuite tenants
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and customer stakeholders
• Establish best practices around observability, reliability, and integration architecture
• Contribute across the stack where needed, including backend systems, infrastructure, and product functionality

Skills

• 5–10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on NetSuite integration expertise
• Deep understanding of NetSuite data structures and OneWorld environments
• Experience with SuiteTalk REST/SOAP APIs, SuiteQL, and SuiteScript 2.x
• Comfortable working with customized ERP environments including workflows, saved searches, custom records, and custom fields
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals, particularly with Python
• Experience building scalable systems and production-grade infrastructure
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and modern cloud-native environments
• Prior startup or founding engineer experience
• Financial systems or accounting domain experience
