[Remote] SEO Strategist

They are seeking an SEO Strategist to develop comprehensive SEO strategies that enhance website visibility and drive organic growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities aligned with business goals and user intent
- Optimize website content, metadata, and HTML elements to improve search engine rankings and enhance user experience
- Implement technical SEO best practices, including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, structured data markup, and crawlability improvements
- Manage and analyze SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and specialized SEO platforms to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority through quality backlinks
- Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and social media teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital channels
- Utilize web analytics insights to refine strategies, track KPIs, and report on campaign effectiveness regularly
- Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly
- Support e-commerce initiatives by optimizing product pages, metadata, and conversion pathways for maximum sales impact
- Manage content management systems such as WordPress, ensuring consistent SEO standards are maintained across all web properties
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of proven experience in developing successful SEO strategies for diverse industries with a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development fundamentals necessary for technical SEO enhancements
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush or Ahrefs, and Google Tag Manager
- Solid knowledge of content management systems like WordPress or similar platforms
- Expertise in keyword research techniques using industry-standard tools to identify high-value opportunities
- Familiarity with conversion optimization principles to improve website performance and user engagement
- Strong understanding of web analytics for tracking user behavior and campaign success metrics across digital marketing channels including SEM and social media management
- Ability to implement metadata strategies that enhance search visibility while maintaining brand consistency
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and best practices for product page optimization is a plus
