[Remote] Business Development Manager

Reed Recruitment USA is partnering with a top-performing logistics organization to find a high-impact Business Development Manager for their team. This fully remote role focuses on new business development within domestic freight and logistics, where the manager will identify opportunities, build relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Prospect heavily through cold outreach to identify decision-makers and uncover freight needs
- Set and run meetings (virtual and in-person) with prospective clients
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships
- Track activity and performance metrics to optimize your sales approach
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to sharpen your pitch
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in logistics sales
- Strong background in 3PL, Non-Asset, and FTL
- Proven track record of closing deals and generating new business
- Hunter mentality — we want real sellers who can deliver immediate impact
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to analyze sales performance and adjust strategies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- FTL expertise (Dry Van, Flatbed)
