[Remote] Financial Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced FP&A Specialist to support a growing organization undergoing a significant finance transformation. This role will enhance financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical processes while helping to build a scalable FP&A function.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across the organization
• Develop and maintain financial models to support operational and strategic initiatives
• Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and management presentations
• Analyze business performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Assist with revenue, expense, headcount, and compensation forecasting
• Create and maintain KPI dashboards and executive reporting tools
• Load and manage financial data within reporting and planning systems
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and financial visibility
• Support process improvement initiatives and help establish scalable FP&A best practices
• Assist with financial systems enhancements, reporting automation, and data integration efforts

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related role
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with financial planning and reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience supporting finance transformation or process improvement initiatives
• Experience working within a high-growth or evolving business environment
• Familiarity with FP&A platforms such as Vena, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, or similar tools
• Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot
• Exposure to automation, reporting optimization, or AI-driven financial analysis tools
