[Remote] Business Development Manager, TECHLINE

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LINAK U.S. provides electric actuation solutions that improve people’s quality of life and working environment. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within their TECHLINE business by identifying and securing new business opportunities across the United States, particularly in the Construction, Agriculture, and Defense sectors.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the Construction, Agriculture, and Defense markets
• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow LINAK TECHLINE actuator sales across the U.S
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, engineering teams, and decision-makers
• Conduct frequent in-person customer visits, presentations, and technical discussions (approximately 50% travel)
• Collaborate closely with internal sales, engineering, and application teams to develop customer-specific solutions
• Lead the sales process from initial opportunity identification through quotation, negotiation, and closing
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging customer needs to inform growth strategy
• Accurately forecast pipeline activity and report progress toward business development goals

Skills

• Must be resourceful and be able to work both independently and with a team
• Excellent phone skills are a must
• A proven history demonstrating the ability to determine the needs of the customer, develop technical solutions to meet those needs and communicate the solutions in a persuasive manner is required
• Required is a minimum of 5 years sales experience with Industrial sales industry
• Bachelors degree required in Business, Engineering or a related field
• Experience with Off-Highway industry
