[Remote] Chief Analytics Officer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Confidential is conducting a search for a Chief Analytics Officer with a leading independent media agency. The CAO will lead a team to develop next-generation measurement and analytics capabilities while serving as a senior advisor to clients, ensuring that marketing investments are effectively connected to business performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the organization's Data & Analytics function
- Drive best-in-class measurement, attribution, analytics, and AI capabilities
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing analytics talent
- Partner closely with executive leadership to shape long-term business and growth strategies
- Oversee measurement frameworks across client portfolios
- Lead the development and implementation of:
- Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
- Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA)
- Incrementality Testing
- Customer Journey Analytics
- Forecasting and Scenario Planning
- Brand and Performance Measurement
- Econometric Modeling
- Ensure clients have clear, actionable visibility into how media investments are driving business outcomes
- Translate complex analytical findings into practical business solutions
- Serve as the executive analytics lead for key client relationships
- Present measurement strategies and business insights directly to C-suite executives and senior marketing leaders
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations
- Build trusted advisor relationships with clients and strategic partners
- Evaluate and implement emerging analytics, AI, and measurement technologies
- Drive the integration of first-party data, cloud platforms, clean rooms, and advanced modeling solutions
- Partner with technology providers to create scalable analytics products and services
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting, insight generation, and optimization processes
- Support new business pitches and client growth initiatives
- Develop differentiated analytics capabilities that strengthen the organization's competitive position
- Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion
Skills
- 15+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, measurement, attribution, or related disciplines
- Senior leadership experience within a media agency, consulting firm, technology company, or client-side marketing organization
- Deep expertise in: Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
- Attribution methodologies
- Media measurement
- Advanced analytics
- Statistical modeling
- Data strategy
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong client-facing and executive presentation skills
- Experience with AI-driven analytics and machine learning applications
- Knowledge of retail media, CTV, digital media, search, social, linear, and full-funnel omnichannel measurement
- Experience working with major analytics and cloud platforms
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise measurement programs
