[Remote] Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Augment is an early-stage company looking for one of its first engineers to work directly with the founders and own all engineering infrastructure. The role involves developing new products, designing systems, and enhancing the technical architecture while contributing to team culture and recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products, features, and integrations
• Design robust end-to-end systems supporting transactions worth hundreds of millions of dollars
• Take ownership of all engineering infrastructure and product deliverables
• Enhance our technical architecture, infrastructure, security, tools, testing, and code quality
• Contribute to team culture and assist with recruitment efforts

Skills

• Develop new products, features, and integrations

• Experience with a modern programming language (Go, React.js, Python, Scala) with substantial code contributions
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL)
• Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda)
• Passion for fintech & marketplaces
