[Remote] Senior Accounting Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. COREcruitment Ltd is partnering with a growing retail brand to find a Senior Accounting Consultant for a 6-month contract. The role involves supporting day-to-day accounting operations, assisting with the transition to a new ERP system, and managing various accounting projects during a period of growth and change.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities
- Work alongside the Controller to help manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Assist with the transition to a new ERP system and help improve accounting processes
- Review accounting entries and support payroll-related accounting tasks
- Use Excel and data analysis tools to streamline reporting and improve efficiency
- Take on special projects as needed to support the finance team
Skills
- CPA designated or actively pursuing your CPA
- Strong accounting foundation with experience in month-end close and financial reporting
- Comfortable working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience would be a big plus
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large amounts of data
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and finding efficiencies
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with a remote team
