[Remote] Vice President Finance

Discover International is a publicly traded leader in nuclear medicine and isotope production, seeking a finance leader to shape the future of patient care. The Vice President of Finance will oversee accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and finance operations while partnering with executive leadership to enhance decision-making and drive performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting and finance operations, including monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Support and oversee SEC reporting activities, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and related public company requirements
- Strengthen financial controls, reporting processes, and overall finance infrastructure
- Partner closely with executive leadership to improve operational and financial decision-making
- Develop KPI reporting and financial performance metrics across the organization
- Support capital planning, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management
- Coordinate external audits and maintain relationships with auditors and advisors
- Prepare executive and Board-level reporting materials
- Drive process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies throughout the business
- Build and develop a high-performing finance function capable of supporting future growth
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience
- Experience within a public company environment
- Exposure to SEC reporting, including 10-K and 10-Q preparation, review, or support
- Strong technical accounting and controllership background
- Manufacturing, industrial, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry experience preferred
- ERP experience (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar)
- A self-starter who takes ownership and delivers results without constant direction
