[Remote] Product Marketing Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Upserve is rebuilding the restaurant POS platform for independent full-service restaurants, aiming to improve service and operational efficiency. They are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to define and communicate the value of their platform, focusing on product positioning, competitive strategy, and sales enablement.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Upserve’s positioning across restaurant POS, payments, reporting, guest intelligence, and operational workflows
- Develop clear, differentiated messaging against all other restaurant technology competitors
- Translate product capabilities into business outcomes for restaurant operators
- Build and maintain pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, ROI calculators, demo narratives, and objection-handling frameworks
- Partner with Sales leadership to improve competitive positioning, discovery conversations, and conversion rates
- Support onboarding and enablement for BDRs, AEs, and channel partners
- Monitor restaurant POS competitors, pricing changes, product launches, and market trends
- Develop actionable competitive intelligence for Sales and leadership teams
- Conduct win/loss analysis and identify recurring themes and objections
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to support feature launches, GTM campaigns, and rollout communications
- Ensure sales, customer success, and marketing teams are prepared with positioning, enablement, and launch materials
- Coordinate launch messaging across website, sales collateral, email, webinars, and social channels
- Conduct customer interviews and market research with restaurant operators, GMs, and hospitality decision-makers
- Gather insights from prospect and customer calls, customer feedback, churn analysis, and sales conversations
- Help shape GTM strategy based on real operator pain points and buying behavior
- Partner with Marketing and Design on homepage messaging, conversion-focused landing pages, comparison pages, and SEO positioning
- Help optimize messaging for inbound conversion, competitive differentiation, and demo generation
- Support reseller, consultant, and integration partner GTM efforts
- Create co-sell materials, partner positioning guides, and integration messaging
Skills
- 4–7+ years of product marketing, GTM strategy, or B2B SaaS marketing experience
- Strong messaging, storytelling, and positioning capability
- Experience supporting sales-led GTM organizations
- Strong understanding of sales enablement, competitive positioning, and product launches
- Ability to simplify operational or technical complexity into customer value
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
- Restaurant technology, hospitality tech, POS, fintech, payments, or SMB SaaS experience
- Experience competing in crowded or highly competitive software categories
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketing automation tools and modern GTM workflows
- Experience conducting win/loss analysis, customer research, or competitive intelligence programs
