[Remote] Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive, you will assist in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospects to build a strong sales pipeline while engaging new and existing clients within the Energy and Utilities Industry.
Responsibilities
- Drive the sales pipeline by engaging new and existing clients within the Energy and Utilities Industry
- Drive client engagement and proposal development
- Plan and carry out business activities to build client relationships and secure opportunities
- Collaborate with senior sales and delivery teams to articulate Endava's value proposition effectively
- Develop and maintain a target account list with defined prospect/client profiles and key value propositions
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of industry verticals and sub-verticals, providing insights and case studies to support sales efforts
- Lead discussions with industry professionals and stakeholders to generate interest and showcase expertise in key industry topics
Skills
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the Automotive Industry
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage with senior stakeholders
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
- Strategic thinker with a record of accomplishment in driving commercial success
- Knowledgeable about industry trends, technologies, and client needs
- Expertly champion specific skills within SAM (Sales & Marketing) and conduct training sessions to nurture the development of junior sales professionals
- Self-driven and results-oriented, with a passion for achieving targets and delivering exceptional client outcomes
- Participation in both internal meetings and external meetings via video calls, as necessary
- Ability to go into corporate or client offices to work onsite, as necessary
- Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer, as necessary
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead, as necessary
- Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment, as necessary
- Vision abilities including close vision, toleration of fluorescent lighting, and adjusting focus, as necessary
- For positions that require business travel and/or event attendance, ability to lift 25 lbs, as necessary
- For positions that require business travel and/or event attendance, a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required, as driving is an essential job function
