[Remote] Human Resources Assistant II
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LHH is seeking a Human Resources Assistant II to join a leading client on a 3-month contract assignment. The role involves providing administrative support across various Human Resources functions such as onboarding, compliance tracking, and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across a variety of Human Resources functions, including hiring, retention, employee relations, performance management, and compliance activities
- Coordinate and manage post-offer employment processes, including collecting and validating candidate information and required hiring documentation
- Conduct employment verifications, reference checks, background screenings, and professional license verifications in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Support pre-employment screening activities and ensure all requirements are completed accurately and within established timelines
- Track and maintain documentation related to state licensure, certifications, credentialing, and compliance requirements
- Administer onboarding processes, including launching onboarding workflows, tracking completion of required paperwork, and ensuring employee records are complete and compliant
- Maintain employee files and documentation to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
- Gather, review, and audit documents required for clinical staff credentialing and ongoing compliance activities
- Perform HRIS data entry and system administration within ADP Enterprise, ensuring employee records remain accurate and current
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions and support training initiatives as needed
- Assist operational leaders with tracking post-hire requirements, including training completion, license renewals, background checks, and performance evaluations
- Train supervisors on employee evaluation processes and performance management procedures
- Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding leave processes through Sedgwick and support leave administration activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and organizational procedures
Skills
- Experience supporting Human Resources operations, onboarding, credentialing, compliance, or employee relations functions
- Experience conducting background checks, employment verifications, and onboarding administration
- Knowledge of HR compliance requirements and employee record management practices
- Experience working with HRIS systems, preferably ADP Enterprise
- Familiarity with leave administration processes and platforms such as Sedgwick
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, managers, and HR teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience supporting healthcare, clinical, or credentialing-related HR functions
- Experience with employee onboarding and compliance tracking programs
- Knowledge of licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements
- Experience conducting employee orientations and training sessions
