[Remote] New Business Development Sales Specialist

Innovative Systems Group is a rapidly growing IT solutions provider headquartered in Glen Ellyn, IL, delivering tailored managed services to mid-market and enterprise clients. They are seeking a seasoned New Business Development Sales Representative to identify and close new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and foster long-term client relationships, particularly in the Florida market.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with a focus on Managed Services, IT projects, and SOW-based solutions
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the customer base in the greater Chicago area and nationally
- Leverage existing network and cold outreach to build a strong pipeline of prospects
- Collaborate with the technical and delivery teams to craft tailored solutions that address client needs
- Lead client presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and sales activities using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Foster long-term relationships with clients and ensure satisfaction through effective account management
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
- Promote offshore delivery capabilities and help bridge client communication with global delivery teams
Skills
- Minimum 5 years of proven IT sales experience, focusing on MSP, project-based services, or SOW-driven engagements
- Experience in selling offshore IT services is a plus
- Strong understanding of the technology services industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Highly self-motivated with a hunter mentality
- Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in selling offshore/nearshore services is highly desirable
