[Remote] UX Content Strategist – Website Redesign
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. eTeam is seeking a Digital Content Strategist to support a website refresh and ongoing digital content needs. This role is execution-focused, responsible for delivering digital content and assets that align with the digital content plan and strategy, while ensuring content quality and alignment with SEO and customer experience goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of existing website content, evaluating relevance and alignment with business goals and messaging
- Recommend whether content should be retained, revised, consolidated, or removed based on audit findings
- Write, edit, and optimize website content to align with new templates, design systems, and defined user journeys
- Execute content at scale, including updating existing pages and developing new content
- Translate strategic direction and agency recommendations into effective, customer-centric content
- Ensure consistency in voice, tone, messaging, and brand standards across all content
- Apply SEO and answer engine optimization best practices to improve content discoverability
- Leverage AI-assisted tools responsibly to draft and scale content while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with content strategy, product marketing, and digital teams to align priorities and deliverables
- Manage ongoing content updates as site structure evolves, ensuring content remains accurate and optimized
Skills
- 5 years of experience in content strategy, content design, or digital content development
- Proven experience working on website redesigns or large-scale content refresh initiatives
- Strong understanding of end-to-end digital content strategy, including how content functions across an entire site experience
- Experience conducting content audits and translating findings into actionable recommendations
- Excellent writing, editing, and content structuring skills for web environments
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and emerging answer engine optimization (AI/LLM-driven search)
- Experience working within design systems and collaborating with UX/design teams (e.g., Figma)
- Comfort using AI content tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, JasperAI or similar) to increase efficiency and scale
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with high-volume execution in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and digital teams
- Experience developing content for SMB or B2B audiences preferred
