[Remote] Founding Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Blitzpanel is automating the complete engineer-to-build pipeline for UL508A control panels, serving sectors like solar farms and robotics. They are seeking a Founding Account Executive to own the sales process, generating leads and closing deals while building the sales structure from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Generate your own pipeline. Cold outreach, referrals, industry contacts, past relationships. Inbound exists, but it won’t carry you to OTE — the hunt is the job
- Run the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, scope the opportunity, and close
- Turn conversations into qualified RFQs. Gather enough info from a customer to hand a clean, scopeable request to our design team
- Build the motion from scratch. Outreach sequences, qualification criteria, the sales process itself. What you create becomes the foundation every future rep runs on
Skills
- Must be located in CA or TX
- Hunter mentality above all. You'd rather build a pipeline from nothing than wait for leads to land in your inbox
- 2–3 years into your sales career with real SDR/full-cycle reps under your belt — enough tenure to build effective strategies and execute them
- Comfort operating without a defined playbook. We're small and moving fast. You'll create the structure and execute
- Commercial instinct: you can qualify hard, advance a deal, and close without overselling
- Exposure to industrial, hardware, manufacturing, or technical B2B sales
- Experience as an early or founding rep at a startup
