[Remote] Full Stack Engineering Manager

They are seeking a Full Stack Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers in developing cloud-native applications and distributed systems while balancing technical leadership and people management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers responsible for building and supporting cloud-native applications and distributed systems
• Balance technical leadership with people management, helping drive project delivery, architectural decisions, and team development

Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting production applications
• 2+ years of direct people management experience
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Express
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Cognito, and SQS/SNS
• Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or similar database technologies
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments such as EKS
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Ability to lead technical discussions, review architecture, and mentor engineering teams
• Experience working in regulated or security-focused environments
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and incident response practices
• Experience partnering closely with Product and Design organizations
