[Remote] SEO Content Strategist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kforce Inc is seeking a remote SEO Content Strategist to enhance their digital experiences through strategic content development. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure SEO-driven content aligns with brand goals and performs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key connector between their SEO agency partners, brand marketing team, and website production and creative teams
• Ensure every piece of content is aligned, elevated, and built to perform
• Apply your SEO expertise to enhance the quality and impact of our digital experiences
• Help define how campaigns come to life
• Contribute to a test-and-learn culture
• Improve the systems and workflows that support our growth

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SEO content writing (agency or in-house)
• 3+ years as a Manager/Team Lead
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword strategy, search intent, and on-page optimization
• Ability to translate SEO performance data into clear insights and tangible SEO recommendations
• Demonstrated experience analyzing content performance using data to drive optimization
• Proven ability to create content that is both performance-driven and brand-elevated
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across marketing, creative, and production
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, reporting dashboards)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Confident communicating in a client environment
• Familiarity with tools such as BrightEdge, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, or GA4
• Experience working in CMS platforms (including headless environments)
• Exposure to content performance analysis and optimization workflows
