[Remote] Business Development Director - Hotels
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Buzz is a global design company that creates signature moments for travel, partnering with leading airlines and hotels to innovate product experiences. The Business Development Director - Hotels will be responsible for building strategic relationships and developing business with major hotels, primarily in the USA, leveraging strong networks and existing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Leveraging your strong networks and existing relationships to introduce Buzz range of in-room products, selling within a complex B2B environment
- Initiating new hotel relationships that are a good fit for Buzz, applying your highly tuned analytical skills to the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans
- Driving well planned pitches and presentations to develop key business opportunities
- Working collaboratively with Buzz business development, project management and brand teams based in Milan, LA, Melbourne, Europe and Asia to deliver exceptional client outcomes
Skills
- Experience in business development within the hotel industry
- Strong networks and existing relationships in the hotel sector
- Ability to develop and secure revenue at head office level
- Understanding of and passion for luxury products
- Highly tuned analytical skills for developing and implementing sales strategies and plans
- Experience in driving pitches and presentations to develop business opportunities
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams across different locations
