[Remote] Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. As a PMO Project Manager, you will coordinate resources, track project performance, and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering quality projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
- Create and present project Agendas, Status Reports and other project documentation to customers and Illumia project teams
- Track and analyze projects’ performance, expenditures, procurement, and report about any possible or current blockers, risks, overflows, and deficits
- Maintain and report projects pipeline and monthly forecasting
- Track and analyze project performance, schedule, and report to management on the changes to project scope, and project schedule, being able to suggest the improvements to all the above
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Close project and transition project deliverables to operations
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the PMO by participating in team meetings and providing feedback and suggestions on processes and deliverables
Skills
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects in a software environment for a minimum of three years, preferably within Healthcare or Higher Ed
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well with large and diverse virtual teams
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience with task scheduling
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
- Experience using project management tools such as MS Project and Professional Services Tools such as Kantata
- Experienced user of MS Office toolset
- Project Management Certification a plus
