[Remote] Legal Counsel

Alexander Chapman is a nationally recognized management-side employment law practice seeking an experienced Employment Counsel to join its fully remote legal team. The role involves handling employment litigation and administrative matters, providing legal guidance, and managing multiple cases efficiently in a flexible working environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle employment litigation matters in state and federal courts from inception through resolution
- Manage administrative charges and agency proceedings before federal, state, and local agencies
- Draft and respond to demand letters, motions, pleadings, and other litigation-related documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies in collaboration with partners and litigation teams
- Work closely with clients on employment law matters and provide practical legal guidance
- Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management
- Maintain high-quality legal work while managing multiple matters simultaneously
Skills
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of employment law and litigation experience
- Strong experience handling employment-related disputes and administrative agency matters
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills
