[Remote] Project Manager II (Non-IT) – Pharmaceutical Operations

K3-Innovations, Inc. is a leading global biopharmaceutical organization seeking a Project Manager II (Non-IT) to support strategic operational initiatives. The role involves managing cross-functional projects, ensuring compliance, and contributing to operational excellence and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, objectives, and deliverables
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute strategic business initiatives
- Translate project objectives into actionable workstreams and measurable outcomes
- Manage multiple projects of low-to-moderate complexity or lead large-scale initiatives
- Support product launch activities and ensure operational readiness and execution of launch milestones
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate project risks
- Monitor project progress, identify roadblocks, and escalate issues when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and project communications
- Recommend process improvements that enhance performance, quality, efficiency, and profitability
- Support workload management and coordination of project resources as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related technical field
- 3–5+ years of professional project management experience
- Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to engage stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive alignment across teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- MBA and/or PMP certification preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, or customer service environments
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and supply chain processes
- Experience supporting product launches and operational readiness initiatives
- Familiarity with project management tools, business financial systems, and reporting platforms
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority and lead through collaboration
