[Remote] Software Engineer, Control Plane

The role involves building tools for enterprises to manage their Hightouch deployments, focusing on backend systems and product development.
Responsibilities
- Building user-friendly but powerful tools and products for enterprises to efficiently onboard onto Hightouch and manage and scale their Hightouch deployments
- Diving deep into backend, distributed systems, and asynchronous workflows
- Thinking holistically about architecture, scalability, maintainability, and reliability
- Engaging with product specs and writing them when necessary
- Adapting and extending access control capabilities to support product line growth
- Building tools for admins to better manage changes in data models or data warehouses at scale
- Helping admins understand and optimize warehouse performance and costs as a result of Hightouch activity
Skills
- Product-minded backend engineer
- Comfortable diving deep into backend, distributed systems, and asynchronous workflows
- Think holistically about architecture, scalability, maintainability, and reliability
- Strong customer and product thinking
- Comfortable writing and engaging with product specs
