[Remote] Strategic Business Development Manager Geomembrane - Central Region
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Seaman Corporation is a leading manufacturer of high-performance fabrics dedicated to protecting the planet and its customers. They are seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager - Geomembrane to expand their geomembrane market by building relationships with key decision-makers and influencing specifications to secure business.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a portfolio of customers and partners within these key industry segments, including owners, engineering firms, consultants, contractors, fabricators and installers when needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry decision-makers to create a network that promotes Seaman Corporation products
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure scope of deliverables, timelines, and budgetary demands
- Develop and implement sales strategies for segments, working with fellow Strategic Business Development Managers and the Direct Sales teams to drive compliance and growth in sales and ensure brand awareness
- Independently pitch and close complex sales presentations
- Conduct negotiations with major companies and key decision makers at the senior executive level and C-Suite
- Identify opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to fully support customer goals
- Oversee sales performance to meet and exceed target sales goals
- Ensure accurate pipeline management and forecasting
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience selling within the Geomembrane market, preferably with a focus on containment systems, geomembranes, or related industries
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working with Power Generation, Oil & Gas companies, Water treatment facilities, procurement processes, and navigating regulatory environments
- Familiarity with geomembrane products and environmental containment solutions
- Proven capabilities in growing relationships at the senior executive level and C-Suite for global Fortune 500 companies
- Demonstrated ability to develop opportunities and close new business or expansion sales
- Successful track record of achieving immediate credibility; presenting varying ideas to create value and challenge the status quo; and able to think quickly, listen well, and understand how to react and modify approach in front of clients and other key influencers
- Experience with geomembrane or related material specifications within Power Generation, Oil & Gas, and Potable & Wastewater sectors
