[Remote] Program Manager- HEDIS
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sunrise Systems, Inc. is a leading Insurance Company seeking a Program Manager- HEDIS for a 6-month remote contract role. The Program Manager will assist with daily operations, support strategic development, and ensure project execution aligns with quality initiatives and budgetary constraints.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director, HEDIS Program Management in strategic development and implementation of quality initiatives through process improvements across the Program
- Assist with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Oversee client reporting for all completed screenings
- Responsible for client monthly invoicing
- Work to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Control project scope by gaining initial alignment with internal stakeholders
- Facilitate meetings, follow up on tasks/issues, and transfer important information to leadership as needed
- Measure and track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills
- MUST HAVE HEDIS experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Program or project experience would be ideal
- Strong excel knowledge
- Must be able to pull and put together raw data in a summary
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience with Program Management
- 3-5 years of experience with health care or HEDIS Programs
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- 2+ years of experience in data gathering, research & analytics, problem identification, and presenting solution recommendations
- Experience with financial and risk analysis, making recommendations and preparing business cases including cost benefit analysis
- 2+ years of experience using project planning techniques and methodologies
- 2+ years business process analytics skills within Excel, flowcharting, activity diagrams and workflow models
- Understanding and ability to explain related IT systems and their impacts
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
- Ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups
- Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
