[Remote] Interim Human Resources Director (6-month assignment)

They are seeking an experienced Interim HR Director to provide leadership across various HR functions during a period of transition, ensuring continuity and supporting executive leadership teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the management of employee benefits programmes across the United States and Canada
- Partner with external brokers, consultants, and insurance carriers to ensure effective programme delivery and compliance
- Oversee benefits governance and regulatory compliance
- Support the ongoing review and enhancement of benefit offerings
- Lead annual compensation planning activities, including merit reviews and incentive programmes
- Manage compensation communications and governance processes
- Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis
- Oversee job evaluation, job description development, and FLSA status determinations
- Manage the organisation's performance management and talent review processes
- Coordinate annual performance and succession planning cycles
- Develop and implement tools, resources, and training programmes for managers and employees
- Support leadership development and organisational capability initiatives
- Provide oversight of HR policies, procedures, and compliance programmes
- Support employee relations matters, investigations, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation and company policies
- Provide oversight and governance of HRIS platforms and key HR processes
- Support continuous improvement across HR operations and service delivery
- Utilise workforce data and reporting to support decision-making and business planning
- Act as HR Business Partner to executive leaders across corporate, commercial, innovation, and business support functions
- Support leadership teams on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement
- Serve as the primary corporate HR interface for teams in the Netherlands and India
- Lead and support members of the HR team
- Drive effective communication of HR programmes, policies, and initiatives across the organisation
- Support organisational change and business initiatives as required
Skills
- Proven experience operating at HR Director level within a manufacturing, industrial, or multinational environment
- Strong expertise across compensation, benefits, talent management, HR compliance, and employee relations
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams and operating within complex organisational structures
- Knowledge of US and Canadian employment practices and benefits administration
- Experience leading HR teams and managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
